Learn How to Paint a Sunflower with Watercolors For Beginners

Watercolor sunflowers, how to paint video art class

Let’s paint a Sunflower with watercolor paint. Sunflowers are so fun, yellow, and bright. They are an inspiring symbol of summer and fall.

Virtual Art Lessons for Teens and Adults

There are so many different ways to paint in watercolor. I have a very simple online art class with step-by-step videos in real-time, so you can paint with me. This is a beginner class. We will draw on our paper first and then paint.

Have you ever wanted to learn how to paint but feel intimidated? I can help with that.

Maybe you think you need some unique talent or artists are born with a talent, but the truth is all professional artists practice to get good at their art. They practice every day. Play and practice and practice and play with their brushes and paint every day. And only when an artist has practiced enough do they produce beautiful paintings.

My watercolor online painting school has references, tips, tricks, and step-by-step video tutorials.

“Mss Karen is so creative and helps us be more creative than most teachers. She helped me take a simple project like the sun line lesson and make it so much more interesting. ”

Kayla E. (Age 14)

“Mrs. Barge is my favorite teacher. I have taken every one of her summer and winter camps. She is now teaching me how to paint acrylic on canvas. My mom says we have run out of room for my art. We are going to have to buy another house.”

Ashley S. (Age 8)

“Love Karen’s enthusiasm level, and personality. Her class is done well in every way: organized, actionable, great pace. Her drawing prompts and suggestions are going to be very helpful to me. The downloadable documents were very helpful to re-enforce remembering. Thanks Karen!”

Linda Mae O.

“As a beginner artist, I truly appreciated your “ease” in your demeanor: you are very approachable, Karen, and easy to be with. Your projects have a positive aura, confident yet not intimating which allows a pleasant environment to create art! I loved your video workshops … I also loved the Christmas Paint Party”
